Patti's daughters are both artists. Her younger one, Tess, has created greeting cards with the help of her adopted Aunty, Mary Anne Radmacher. She uses the money from her greeting card sales to nurture the collection of animal costumes that make it easier for her to be in crowds. Tess has Asperger's, a kind of Autism that makes social situations difficult for her, so the costumes help her break the ice and "hide" in full view a bit. A portion of each sale will be put aside to cover the cost of a trained Autism service dog for Tess as well, money that must be raised before she can be put on the waiting list for such a dog. And, finally, Tess has decided to contribute 5% of all profit from the sale of these cards to a nonprofit that trains and places dogs with kids like her.
More cards in her "Tessify" line will be added soon.
